1998
Started programming 20 years ago when I got my first computer – I continuously learn, research, and use new software and technologies as they evolve. My second language is “Computer.”
2007
Graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Media Production. My second passion is Story, and while programming video games when I was younger was a great way to combine those skills, I chose to focus on film as a way of learning a lot about this second passion in a short period of time. These skills collided again once I graduated.
2008
Had an assistantship in the film industry that relied heavily on my computer abilities. Learning how to use software, then teaching others; Creating presentation websites, treatments, visual decks, etc; Troubleshooting an array of technology product issues (computers, iPhones, security cameras, DVRs). If it had a power button, I could tell you everything about how it works in a way you’d understand, and I could fix it for you.
2011
Started working in various roles in the commercial production business, including commercial coordinator, assistant production supervisor, and production supervisor. These jobs require a lot of computer skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and precisely.
2012 – today
As much fun as you can have on a commercial film set, I needed a better way to express my creativity, and I found that in building and designing websites for my clients. What started as a way to share my computer skill strength with my film colleagues has blossomed into a full-time career. I truly get to combine my two passions – computers and stories – by bringing my clients’ visions to life every day.
