Setting up this online store for d / e goods was a joy in minimalistic website building. Their desire to be simplistic and straightforward in their design, plus the fact they wanted to manage future updates themselves, led us to Squarespace. We attempted a build in Volusion, and while their sales tools were good, it just wasn’t powerful enough with respect to the visual aesthetic.
This job required researching hosting options, including the correct sales tax per New York state zip code, setting up shipping accounts, creating the logo, building the website, and then modifying the website code to strip out advanced and unnecessary functionality. The final product is exactly what the client desired for their online boutique.
